 Date:  Sunday - February 16th  2020

Time:  5.00pm to 6.00pm

Discription:

Tara is a Buddha of compassion who manifests in female form. In Tibetan, Tara is known as 'Dolma' (Mother) or 'She who Saves'. Specifically, she represents compassion in action since she is in the process of stepping from her lotus throne in order to help sentient beings. She brings about longevity, protects earthly travel, stimulates success in jobs and business undertakings, and guards her followers on their spiritual journey to enlightenment.

She is believed to help her followers overcome dangers, fears, and anxieties; and she is especially worshipped for her ability to overcome the most difficult situations.  when we make prayers to and rely on Tara, because of her enlightened activities, she will respond very fast and all our wishes will be quickly accomplished

This puja is a combination of purification practices, reciting many times the praises to the 21 Taras, mandala offerings and recitation of the Foundation of All Good Qualities.  We express our deepest gratitude to His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama for his benevolent presence amongst us. With immense respect, we pray for his long life, to the age of one hundred and thirteen as graciously expressed by him. We reaffirm our unwavering loyalty and devotion to him. May all his wishes be fulfilled.

Also, we request all to join for the prayer for ovecoming the effect of recent Coronavirus outbreak in China and to other parts of the world,   As per the His Holiness the Dalai Lama’ spiritual advice to prevent the spread of Coronavirus he has asked to do the collective chanting prayer of the "Tara Mantra"  for the speedy resolving the crisis for the well being of the Humanity.  So, Namgyal Monastery Venerable monks and we all are going to do the collective "Tara Mantra" chanting to overcome the spread of Coronavirus.

We dedicate our collective merit for the source of benefits and happiness, and wish prosperity for you and all sentient beings throughout the Universe.
