Prerequisites None. This intensive is suitable for both beginning and advanced students.

Vesna A. Wallace, Ph.D. is Professor of Religious Studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Her research focuses on the comparative analysis of the Buddhist traditions of South Asia, Tibet, and Mongolia. One of the world’s leading experts on the Kalacakratantra, she has published translations of two of that tantra’s five chapters.

- Weekend Intensive:
"Explorations into the Kalacakra Tantric Practices"

The intensive weekend teachings on the Kalachakratantra will consist of three parts. The first part will consist of the exploration of the historical and doctrinal foundations of the Kalachakra tantric system and its antinomianism, The second part will be dedicated to the understanding of various ways in which the Kalachakra tantric system is pointing out the ultimate reality, or the Gnostic Body; and the third part will be dedicated to the exploration of the Kalachakra tantric ways of actualizing the ultimate.

The cost for the weekend intensive is $140, and includes morning tea and session tea breaks.
