Spring 2008 Classes - Overview
Our Spring 2008 classes will be offered in two 6-week sessions, together equaling 12 weeks, or one semester of study. On this page you will find an overview of administrative information. Please also see the following:
Sessions
Session 1:
Begins on January 28, 2008, and ends on March 13, 2008.
Tibetan New Year Break:
Due to the Tibetan New Year (Losar) holiday on February 7, 2008, no classes will be held the week of February 4, 2008.
Mid-Semester Break:
There will be a two-week vacation from classes between Session One and Session Two, beginning on March 14, 2008, and ending on March 30, 2008.
Session 2:
Begins on March 31, 2008 and ends on May 8, 2008.
Full-Time Tuition
Full-time tuition is $1,200, which includes access to all courses offered in both Session One and Session Two, including Tibetan language instruction. Full-time students are also granted access to two weekend intensives throughout the Spring 2008 semester (1 for each six-week session; excludes special programming). Payment schedules can be arranged with the Administrator prior to the beginning of each session.
Financial Aid
A limited amount of financial aid will be available in the form of ‘work-study’ to students in most need of assistance. Please see the Administrator to apply.
Senior-Citizen Discount
A discount of 15% will be automatically granted to seniors, applicable to full-time tuition, and tuition for individual classes.

To register, please contact Namgyal, with your full name, address, telephone number, and email (optional).
Payment
Please make your personal check, money order, or bank cashier's check payable to “Namgyal Monastery” and send to our mailing address.
For payment by credit card, please register first and then process your payment through the “Donate to Namgyal Ithaca” link on our Supporting Namgyal page. In the Comments field of the Payment Form, enter the name of the event for which you are paying.
