Bridging Worlds: October 9-10, 2007
Namgyal Monastery Institute of Buddhist Studies was honored to have His Holiness the Dalai Lama visit Ithaca, NY, to bless our new temple, Dü Khor Choe Ling. His Holiness also gave three public teachings, filling nearly 9,000 seats. His Holiness delivered a public talk at Cornell University, participated in an interfaith dialogue at the State Theatre, and taught a Dharma lesson at Ithaca College. With generous cosponsorships and coordination among the three venues, we experienced a true bridging of worlds.
